What We Do

Quixote Automation provides independent, field-oriented automation and controls engineering support for industrial facilities. Work typically involves diagnosing, stabilizing, modifying, or extending existing control systems in environments where documentation is incomplete, vendors are unavailable, or downtime carries real operational risk.

  • Troubleshooting unstable or unreliable automation systems

  • Supporting undocumented or poorly understood control systems

  • Brownfield upgrades and system life extension

  • OEM-abandoned or vendor-orphaned equipment

  • Short-notice or project-based field support


Technical Scope

Experience spans PLC, PAC, and DCS-based control systems; SCADA and HMI platforms; industrial instrumentation; motor control and VFDs; safety-related control systems; and industrial networking. Work is performed with an emphasis on field diagnostics, system-level understanding, and safe modification of existing equipment.


Location & Availability

Based in Michigan, serving Southeast Michigan and Western New York as local Regions.Project-based and short-term support available nationwide by arrangement.
